Marilyn Joy (Linder) Walsh, age 70 of Surprise, Ariz.passed away Wednesday, March 18,  in Surprise, Ariz.

Marilyn Joy Walsh was born October 14, 1944 in Olathe, Kansas, the daughter of Preston and Mary Linder.  She graduated from Gardner High School in 1962.  For several years she worked various jobs in and around Olathe, Kan.  Marilyn had also lived in Adrian, Mo. On February 14, 2007 she was united in marriage to Douglas Walsh of KCMO.  Soon after they married, they moved to Surprise, Ariz.  Marilyn loved being in Arizona.  She loved the weather, especially Arizona winters, having a new home and cruises she went on with her new and loving husband.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Doug of the home in Surprise, Ariz; son, Steven Winsky of Waverly, Kan; step-son, Eric Walsh and step-daughter, Heather Walsh, both of Overland Park, Kan; brother, Doug Linder of Garnett, Kan; brother, Wayne Linder and his wife Marie of Wellsville, Kan; and many grandchildren, cousins and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and infant brother, Marion Daniel and brother, Gerald Linder.

Cremation. A memorial services will be 1:30PM, Saturday, April, 25, 2015 at Wilson’s Funeral Home in Wellsville.  Burial in the Wellsville Cemetery at a later time.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in care of Wilson’s, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.
