4-H members from Gardner, Edgerton and Spring Hill won their divisions in livestock Round Robin Showmanship. The competition was held at the Johnson County Fair on July 31. With their victories, the trio will be eligible to compete Sept. 11-20 at the upcoming Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson.
Logan Allen, 16 of Edgerton, won the senior 4-H division. He is the son of Jill and Earl Allen Jr.
Tonya Slyter, 14 of Spring Hill, took top honors in the intermediate 4-H division. She is the daughter of Paul and Lola Slyter.
Gabe Hueser, 10 of Gardner, took the prize in the junior 4-H division. Hueser is the son of Dan and Tiffany Hueser.
To qualify for the Friday evening Round Robin, 4-Hers needed to win their age division in one of the livestock species shows at the fair. Round Robin consists of demonstrating showmanship capability with cattle, swine, sheep and goats.
