Local Cub Scout packs to hold information nights

Gardner based Cub Scout packs are holding information nights for parents of boys interested in joining Cub Scouts.
Upcoming activities include campouts and the Pinewood Derby. Designed for boys in grades 1 through 5, Cub Scouting combines outdoor activities, sports, academics in a fun and exciting program designed to help teach ideals such as honesty, good citizenship and respect.
There are three Cub Scout Packs in Gardner:  Pack 3088 (Moonlight), Pack 3888 (Nike and Gardner) and Pack 3388 (Madison and Sunflower).  For more information please contact Christine O’Connor at (913)269-4042 or boconnor7@kc.rr.com or go to LINK. Attend an information night at your school:

Gardner Elementary – Aug. 29, 7 p.m.

Sunflower Elementary – Aug 30, 7 p.m.
