NOTICE OF HEARING ON REZONING
Case No.: RZ-11-19-12

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Edgerton, Kansas, will hold a Public Hearing at their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Edgerton Community Building, 404 E. Nelson Street, Edgerton, Kansas at 7:00 p.m. at which time and place the public may be heard in regard to the rezoning of the following described real property, situated in the City of Edgerton, Johnson County, Kansas to wit:

The DeLong Company, Inc., owner, of property located approximately just east of Homestead Lane along 191st Street (Parcel No. BF221434-2010),requests a change in the zoning fromJohnson County Rural (RUR)to City of Edgerton Industry Heavy District (I-H) on the following real property:

Legal Description:
All that part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 34, Township 14 South, Range 22 East, Johnson County, Kansas, being more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the Southwest Corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 34; thence North 88 degrees 10 minutes 27 seconds East, along the South line of said Quarter Section, a distance of 232.30 feet, to the True Point of Beginning of Subject Tract; thence continuing North 88 degrees 10 minutes 27 seconds East, along the South line of said Quarter Section, a distance of 522.08 feet, to the Southwest corner of the tract of land described as the J. A. Pearce Tract in the 1892 Re-Survey of said Section 34; thence North 01 degree 52 minutes 40 seconds West, along the West line of said J. A. Pearce Tract, a distance of 871.01 feet; thence South 53 degrees 52 minutes 24 seconds West, no longer along the West line of said J. A. Pearce Tract, a distance of 407.79 feet, to a point of curvature; thence Southwesterly and Southerly, along a curve to the left having a radius of 461.00 feet and a central angle of 40 degrees 11 minutes 05 seconds, a distance of 323.33 feet; thence South 01 degree 49 minutes 33 seconds East, a distance of 383.68 feet, to the True Point of Beginning, all subject to that part thereof now dedicated for street purposes.

Containing a net area of355,516 square feet or 8.162 acres, more or less.
