Baldwin Middle School scored 16, fourth quarter points and defeated the Pioneer Ridge Middle School seventh grade varsity boys basketball team 34-30 last week.
PRMS, 1-3, jumped to a 9-6 first quarter lead, but fell behind 19-13 by halftime.
Both teams battled to an 8-8 third quarter tie before the Bulldogs sealed the win with 16-point fourth quarter rally.
“We battled well in the second half but Baldwin got 16 points in the final frame to get the win,” said coach Jeff Davidson.
Despite the loss, Dayvin Johnson had 10 points while Tyler Goetzmann added nine points. Zach Galvin had five and Austin Oldham had four points. Jacob Butash and Alex Wisecup had one point.
