Brian and Monica Boutte are winners of the Small Acreage Conservation Award.
The Bouttes have lived at their home near Gardner since 1998. In 2010 they entered into an EQIP contract with Natural Resources Conservation Service to build a High Tunnel. The high tunnels are similar to a greenhouse the design used by the Bouttes are mobile for ease of use.  They have since added another high tunnel as they really enjoy the extended growing season that allows them to have fresh greens and vegetables into the winter.
