Lady Jaguars take 4th at Wellsville Relays

A combined seventh and eighth grade Pioneer Ridge Lady Jag track squad brought back a fourth place finish from the Wellsville Relays April 25.
“The Jags competed well and several athletes set personal records in their events,” said Coach Jeff Davidson. “I was real proud of the effort and we got strong eighth grade leadership.”
Earning first place was the 400 relay team of Gracie Moorehouse, Cierra Swait, Jessi Heniss and Taylor Carpenter. Heather Culbertson also took first place in the discus event.
Silver medals went to the team high jump group of Kaitlyn Dayton, Heniss and Tiffany Harlow and the team discus group of Culbertson, Heniss and Taylor Snell. Lauren Highfill added second place points in the 100 meter hurdles.
Bronze medals went to the team pole vault group of Sydney Deitz and Harlow and the distance medley of Alysa Carr, Lauren Haag, Deitz and Jayme Morris . Other third places went to the sprint medley team of Brooke Boyer, Highfill, Carr and Carpenter and the 800 and 3200 relay teams.
