Lady Blazers earn gold at Shawnee Mission South Invitational

It was a good start to the season for Coach Larry Ward and his Lady Blazers at the Shawnee Mission South Relays on April 5.
Gold medal performances came from Lauren Strick in the shot put, Abby Buie in the javelin and Taylor Claybon in the 300 hurldes.
Other medalists included Karli Smith in the pole vault and the 1600, and 3200 relay team of Miranda Tenove, Sierra Coen, Cortlyn Tryon, Kenna Douglass, and Claybon.
