Kellen Kueser’s three point goal with six seconds left lifted the Trailridge seventh grade boys varsity to a dramatic 36-34 win over Louisburg last week.
A 10-2 first quarter run put TRMS up 19-14 at halftime. Austin Smith scored eight of his team high 12 points in the last quarter.
Smith led the way with 12 points, Kueser had 11, Drew Cassida, six points, Tyler Halbrook, four points, and Matthew Limer, three points.
Kueser also had four rebounds and one steal. TRMS finished with 21 rebounds and two steals.
In seventh grade JV action, TRMS fell 26-17 despite Teddy Gilmore’s six points.
Gilmore and Nathan Gregg led the way with four points. Landon Turner, three points, Quenton Walion, two points, and Dominick Everson, two points.
