Kansas Bankers Award

Howard Linville will be the recipient of the Johnson County Conservation District’s Kansas Banker’s Award this year.
The property is located near Spring Hill and has been owned by the Linvilles since 1967.  The operators of the property have always been the Wiswells, originally Glen Wiswell followed later by his son H.A. Wiswell.
Howards’s favorite use of his property was having a cattle herd, but has always enjoyed working with his operator as well.  They have built waterways and over 4,000 linear feet of gradient terraces to complete the conservation plan on this property.  It is a great example of natural resource conservation, to protect the land for future generations.
