Joyce Higginbotham

Joyce Pauline Higginbotham, 62, of Qulin, Mo., passed away peacefully in her sleep and went to her eternal home on Feb. 23, 2014 at her residence.

Joyce was born June 7, 1951. She was formerly a teacher’s aide at Edgerton Elementary School in Edgerton, Kan.

She will be greatly missed by all that loved her.

She is survived by her four children, Cheri Hicks and her husband Lindel, of Qulin, Mo., Susie Hann and her husband William, of Olathe, Kan.; Brian Higginbotham and his wife Leslie, of Gardner, Kan. and Eric Higginbotham, of Overland Park, Kan.; her mother, Lou Ella Rodgers, of Oklahoma; sisters, Bessie Williams, Darline Melton, and Donna Crow; brothers Kenneth Rodgers, Donald Rodgers, Richard Rodgers and Bobby Rodgers; and grandchildren, Caleb and Kailee Hicks, William II and Tony Hann, Nolan, Jace and Tanner Higginbotham, Alexandria, Austin and Ashlyn Higginbotham.

Joyce was preceded in death by her father Henry David Rodgers; and brother, David Rodgers.

According to her wishes there will be a private family gathering in her honor. Condolences;
