OLATHE — Johnson County residents 18 years and older are eligible to vote in the Extension Council elections from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Oct. 18 at the Johnson County K-State Research and Extension office, 11811 S. Sunset Drive, Suite 1500, in Olathe. A driver’s license is required to verify age and residency. The public will elect 24 members to the Extension Council. The Extension Council works with Extension agents to determine educational programming for Johnson County residents.
Following the elections, the newly elected council will meet Oct. 29 for their Annual Meeting and elect amongst themselves the nine-member Extension Board.
