James M. Page, 73, of Spring Hill, Kan., passed away Oct. 22 2011, at Hospice House of Kansas City, Mo.

James was born Nov. 5, 1937 in Butler County, Kan. to Leland Noah and Leona Mae (White) Page. He graduated from Latham High School. He was a Sergeant serving in the U. S. Army and stationed in Germany, for four years.

James married Mary J Aubert on June 19, 1961 in Marion, Kan. They lived in De Soto before moving to Spring Hill.

He retired as a Heavy Construction and Bridge Superintendent in Miami County. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. James was an instructor for Hunter Safety courses. He assisted in the Miami County State Lake restoration project. James loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

James is survived by his wife Mary, of the home; sons Bart A Page and wife Susan of Wellsville, Kan., and Jimmie L Page and wife Wendy of Alma, Kan.; daughter Carrie J Page and husband Steve Sebasto of Spring Hill; and eight grandchildren, Ashley, Bradley, Cori, Cordell, James, Kaylee, Lanie and Carter.
