Jag JV volleyball defeats Wheatridge

Behind the serving of Emily Worth, the Pioneer Ridge eighth-grade junior varsity volleyball squad posted two match wins at Wheatridge, Aug. 29.
In the first match, Pioneer turned back WMS in three games: 25-13, 29-25, and 25-13. The second match saw the Lady Jags post a 9-25, 25-6, and 25-21 match win.
Worth had a total of 50 serves on the night, 22 in a row. Abby McBee had 32 serves. Jenna Goetzman had three spikes.
“I was real proud of the effort,” said Coach Mila Little. “We started the year undefeated winning both matches in three.”
