Drivers and nosy neighbors can’t get too close to ongoing development near the intermodal. However, work is underway on the project, which is set to open in the fall of 2013. Meanwhile, real estate signs marketing developable land are becoming a common site.
In addition to the Edgerton Intermodal and KC Logistics Hub, officials hope that vacant land in neighboring cities including Gardner and Spring Hill will be desirable locations for ancilliary development.
