Ice Cream Social, book signing to be held this weekend

The Gardner Historical Museum, 204 W. Main, will host its annual Ice Cream Social from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, June 29. There will be homemade ice cream and baked goods available, along with entertainment, a silent auction, and antique cars.
Local author Barbara Sue Sweetwood will be present from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. to sign copies of her books, and another local author, Norm Ledgin, will also be present during the event signing copies of his books. In addition, there will be craft artisans displaying their talents.
The museum’s Civil War exhibit will also be available for viewing beginning at 1 p.m. that day until 7 p.m. This exhibit runs through July 2.
The museum staff would like to invite everyone to come out and enjoy the fun-filled family event.
