Good Samaritans pulled a man from a car stuck on the railroad tracks on Monday night.  Just before midnight on June 28, two young women came across the vehicle driven by Geoffrey S. Jensen trapped on the tracks  at 167th and U.S. 169 Highway.  The vehicle, which had to go around barricades to get to the rails, was high centered on the tracks.

Shortly after pulling Jensen from the car, the car was demolished by a train.  Jensen suffered only minor injuries which were sustained prior to him being removed from his vehicle.

He was taken to an area hospital where he was treated for his injuries.  He was later booked into the Johnson County New Century Jail on charges of Driving on a Suspended License and a Registration Violation.
