It was a good weekend for both Dustin Williams and Seth Pesek.
The Rocky Mountain Nationals is a folkstyle wrestling tourney held in Denver annually.  The boys were selected to be a part of Team Kansas which consisted of 32 wrestlers including state champions, placers and qualifiers from last month’s Kansas High School Wrestling State Tourney in Park City, Kan. The team left for Denver early Thursday morning making stops in Topeka, Junction City, Salina, Hays and Colby picking up teammates from around the state.
After three days of wrestling, Dustin walked away with the 160-pound Rocky Mountain National Championship title. Seth took sixth in the 195-pound division.  Both boys earned high school All-American wrestler designations.  They made it back home at 5:30 a.m. March 19 after driving all night.
