GEHS student accomplishments

Gardner Edgerton High School senior Michael Fibelkorn was selected as one of 40 singers to attend the Kansas State University 34th Summer Choral Institute in June. Michael was selected from among hundreds of national applicants. According to the Institute, this year was the most competitive year in its  history.
GEHS Band, Choir and Orchestra students traveled to Emporia State University on April 28 to participate in the 6A State Solo and Small Ensemble Music Festival. The students brought home  60 Gold Medals.
The following Gardner Edgerton High School art students won ribbons in the Highland Juried Art Fair:

April Smith – Best of Show, Fabricated Jewelry Piece
Christian Hissong – Artistic Excellence, Print and Watercolor
Brittanie DuPont – Honorable Mention, Photography
Isaac Bharanian – Honorable Mention, Printmaking
Molly Porter – Honorable Mention, Ceramics
