GEHS, SHHS recognized as KS Honors Scholars

Seniors from local  high schools in southern Johnson County were recognized for their academic achievements and named Kansas Honor Scholars on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at a  program and reception at Olathe North High School.

During the ceremony, each student received a Webster’s New College Dictionary and a commemorative certificate.
Michael Branicky, dean of the School of Engineering at the University of Kansas, spoke to the students and their parents and guests.
