Gardner police investigating armed robbery

Gardner police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred between 3:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. on May 2 in the 1500 block of East Santa Fe in Gardner.
A 24-year-old victim was approached by a man with a knife, and his wallet was forcibly stolen during the early hours of last Thursday morning. The victim, of Gardner, was taken to the hospital with superficial cut wounds to his abdomen.
The wounds were not life-threatening, and the victim has been released from the hospital. The value of the stolen wallet and contents is estimated at $83.
Police are still investing the aggravated robbery and have yet to arrest anyone in the case.
