Gardner man grabs gold at senior olympics

Deloyn Huffman, 78, of Gardner, continued his dominance of the Senior track circuit grabbing five gold medals at the Kansas Senior Olympics in Topeka.
In the field events, Huffman took first place in the long jump, triple jump, and standing long jump.
On the track, Huffman raced to gold in the 400, 800 and 1500 meters.
Huffman also took silver medals in the shot put, discus, javelin, 50, 100 and 200 meters races.
