Gardner City Council meeting canceled

The Gardner City Council meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. on May 6 is canceled due to lack of quorum.

Member Larry Fotovich told council members that he had a family schedule change and would not be able to make the council meeting.

Gardner city ordinance requires four council members be in attendance in order to conduct official city business. Currently, there are only four sitting members of the council.

The appointment of a fifth member was set for the May 6 agenda. Mayor Chris Morrow nominated Tory Roberts for the role, but the appointment must be approved by the council.
