Fourth of July festivities planned

The Gardner and Edgerton communities will celebrate Fourth of July festivities next week.
The city of Edgerton will host its Independence Day Community Picnic at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3.
Served will be hamburgers, hotdogs and chips.
Fireworks will follow at dusk.
Gardner will host its community Independence Day celebration from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the following day, Wednesday July 4 at Celebration Park..
Families will be able to use the park’s amenities, including trails, playground and picnic shelters.
There will also be a DJ, an orchestra and inflatables for kids.
The color guard will be presented prior to the start of fireworks at dusk.
