The 30 Minute Workout
I am sure that there are a lot of you that are reading this and probably have said this exact sentence before. I want to work out but just don’t have time. I know that a lot of my clients have mentioned this to me. I am going to do my best to help you out with a 20-30 min. workout that can be pretty intense.
Before I give you the workout I must suggest a few things first. I want you to understand that if you don’t have an hour a day to allocate to a daily fitness activity I would really suggest moving some things around so that you do have an hour or close to it a day for yourself. With that being said here we go. If you had only 30 min or less to workout here is what I would have you do or some version close to this.
I would have you do 5 or 6 different exercises. One for every body part. For example, pushups, sit-ups, body squats, triceps kickbacks, and maybe jump rope. Also I would suggest going to Wal-Mart or Target and buying a Stability ball, jump rope and a resistance band. Probably about $15-$20 total. Although you don’t need the stability ball to do this workout it would come in very handy. If you don’t know how to do any of the exercises I listed above let me know and I will walk you through them. Ok now we have our 5 exercises. Now we want to get a stopwatch or clock and set it close to where your going to perform the exercises. Next I want you go do each exercise as long as you can for 45-60 sec if you’re in pretty good shape. If you not in good shape the start off with 30-45 sec. Take 15 sec in-between each exercise and then move on to the next one and repeat this process. Once you build up your endurance you should be able to do this at least 3 times. Make sure to stretch before and after your exercise. And if your are just starting your might go see your Doctor for a physical.
