Fischer named to All-State squad

Gardner Edgerton High School soccer player Luke Fischer  was recently voted to the 6A second team All-State soccer squad. Fischer also earned a first team All-Eastern Kansas League award.
Also named to the EKL  second team were Jake Mcintire, Tim Mitchell and Dakota Steuber.
“This is the first time we have had a player named specifically on an All-State team,”  said coach Andy weber.
“We’ve had two player in our program receive All-State Honorable Mention, but this year marks the first time we have had a player named to a specific state team.”
