Chief Jeff Johnson from Johnson County Fire District No. 2 presented third quarter performance measures to the Spring Hill City Council.
Since January, the district has had 3,800 contacts and responded to 17 different events; this exceeded the department’s goal of six events. The report also detailed information on some of the fire district’s public education goals. This past year the district taught CPR to 114 adults and 17 children.
Finally, Johnson previewed the comprehensive assessment of officers that Johnson will present in November.
Mayor Mark Squire noted that response times listed in the 2010 report are lower than in previous years.
