Events for GEHS student’s lung transplant set

The Live2Love Judy Hart foundation is sponsoring two events to raise funds for Judy Hart, a Gardner Edgerton High School student. Hart will need a lung transplant in the near future, and the foundation hopes to raise $60,000 to assist with living expenses and care as she prepares for and recovers from surgery in St. Louis.
First, the Knights of Columbus will host a spaghetti dinner. Proceeds will go to the Live2Love fund. The dinner will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Divine Mercy Parish Center on Sept. 28. The parish center is located on east Warren Street.
Volunteers for the Live2Love Judy Hart foundation will host a four person golf scramble on Oct. 12. The shot gun will start at 8 a.m. that day at the Gardner Golf Club. Individuals and teams can register, and the group is still seeking hole sponsors. The deadline to register for the event is Oct. 5.
