Eudora spoiled Homecoming Sept. 28 taking a 28-0 win over the Spring Hill Broncos at the District field.
Eudora went up 7-0 in the first quarter thanks to a 42-yard scoring strike from Andrew Ballock to Tanner Tornedon. Grant Elston added the successful extra point kick.
The Cards added two second quarter scores . Marcus Hills scored from 35 yards out and minutes later Ballock romped in from 75 yards. Eudora closed the scoring with a Elston 3 yard run in the fourth quarter.
Despite the loss, Trevor Cluck had 9 carries for 25 yards and completed a pass. Top defensive efforts came from Hunter Stuart, Tyler Crabtree, and Connor Jones.
Now 2-3, the Broncos remain at home to host Ottawa, Oct. 5. Kickoff is 7 pm at the district stadium.
