Edstrom signs letter of intent

Connor Edstrom, Gardner has signed a letter of intent to play men’s soccer for first year head coach Shane Taylor and Bethany College in the 2014-2015 academic year.
Edstrom played his high school ball at Gardner Edgerton High School. He played center back and center mid in high school. Edstrom also was on the bowling team for two years. He was an honor roll student, a part of the leadership club, the Ping Pong Club, and the Chess Club while in high school.
“We are thrilled to have Connor Edstrom committed to Bethany and our men’s soccer program. He brings with him good experience from accomplished club and high school teams. We know he will make a positive impact on our program,” said head coach Taylor.
Connor is the son of Tim and Angela Edstrom. He earned a 3.3 grade point average and plans to major in Sports Management while studying at Bethany College.
