During a brief city council meeting on Nov. 8, Edgerton council members addressed a few administrative housekeeping issues including amending a city ordinance to allow a designee for issuing for code violations, approving a water supply conservation plan and canceling a meeting scheduled for Thanksgiving.
Council members tabled the water conservation plan in order to have time to read the document and adjourned the meeting. However, the meeting was re-opened when council realized they needed to formally approve the cancellation of the Thanksgiving meeting.
The next Edgerton City Council meeting is set for 7 p.m. Dec 13 at city hall.
Mayor Don Roberts said he will approach Edgerton’s newly-elected representatives in the Statehouse and on the county commission to address the council.
