The Trail Ridge Middle School cross country teams turned in impressive performances at the Ottawa Invitational last week.
The seventh grade girls led the way with four medal performances. Anna Tropansky took 11th place, while Hanna Thomas finished 12th. Thomas was followed closely by Elizabeth Guevara, who finished in 13th and Nayeli Canpos, who finished in 14th place.
Abbie Thomas just missed medaling, finishing in 16th place.
The TRMS seventh grade boys got a 26th place from Tate Allen. Isaac Chorny took 30th and Latahn Clark, finished in 32nd place.
The eighth grade girls got a 20th place from Alyssa Farrens, Elizabeth Velez took 29th and Nayeli Rodriguez was 31st.
For the eighth grade boys, JJ Briscoe had the top performance with a third-place medal and new school record time of 12:11.16 and Cooper Crouch took 31st.
