Commission tables car lot decisions

Members of the Gardner Planning Commission tabled a decision that will determine whether a car lot, located on south Gardner Road, can continue its operations.
During an April 23 meeting, commissioners expressed reluctance to deny a re-zoning that Tyrone Jones, owner of the used car business, said would cost him his livelihood. Commissioners also expressed reluctance to set a precedence with the rezoning approval that could change the way vacant land in Gardner develops.
