Project talks play an integral role in 4-H, helping to sharpen public speaking skills. They are also a fun way to exhibit your favorite hobby or activity.
The Comets Tech Club puts a special emphasis on project talks by designating a specific time in the meeting for that night’s speaker.
The Comets Tech Club also encourages a wide variety of subjects, which have included everything from Howard Pyle to Minecraft, latch-hooking to the history of tea, and even a demonstration on how to make the Mexican food staple, Pico de Gallo. 4-H’ers are also allowed to showcase a favorite activity they enjoyed, such as going to space camp.
