The other day when I read about Edgerton not having clean drinking water, my heart went out to that city’s citizens. They not only have the intermodal, I feel they will probably also be living with an asphalt plant and then to not have clean drinking water puts the cherry on top of the cake. And they are paying the highest city taxes in the whole County or perhaps the state for all I know for those “privileges” – Overland Park’s mill levy is 12.833 while Edgerton’s is 52.813 including fire protection – over 4 times higher to live in Edgerton. That is what raunchy politicians/bureaucrats and the thieves can do to a poor community and apathy of citizens certainly doesn’t help any.

Edgerton Mayor Roberts is employed as Gardner’s Water Plant Supt. and citizens are paying him $27.70 per hour to do that job – wonder whether Gardner will continue to have good drinking water………….I also continue to believe there is a huge conflict of interest with Mr. Roberts working for the city of Gardner and being the Mayor of Edgerton, especially since Gardner citizens were put into millions of more dollars in debt by Gardner helping out Edgerton on their sanitary plant and Gardner citizens are paying for that debt by getting higher sewer rates and you can bet your bippy that when that debt is finally paid years from now that Gardner citizens won’t get a reduction in their sewer rates.

Citizens might want to pay close attention to what their bureaucrats and politicians are bringing to their doors and what the Sam Hill it is costing them.

All citizens should remember well that the majority of the Gardner City Council voted for that debt and higher sewer rates for the citizens – and especially remember that fact well when you enter that voting booth. Know very well what each and every Council member is enabling and supporting and why – my opinion and experience tells me that citizens pay to keep the thieves fat and happy

Citizens might want to pay close attention to what their bureaucrats and politicians are bringing to their doors and what the Sam Hill it is costing them.
