Christopher Michael Lee

Christopher Michael Lee, 45, of Gardner, Kan. passed away June 27, 2013 at Kansas City Hospice House.

Christopher was born May 3, 1968 in Montour Falls, N.Y., to Kathleen (Champaign) and Gary Lee. After high school he attended United States Air Force Training at Shepherd AFB in Wichita Falls, Texas, and served in the U.S. Air Force for 8 years, stationed in Grand Forks, N.D.

Christopher married Heidi Neft on June 24, 1992 in Grand Forks. They lived in Pierre, S.D. before moving to Gardner four years ago.

Christopher was a field service representative for Siemens for the last four years. He was very active in Boy Scouts.

Christopher enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and being outdoors. He was a big fan of the Steelers football team and Celtics basketball team. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Margaret Lee and his son, Brandon Jacob Lee.

Christopher is survived by his wife Heidi, of the home; son Cameron David Lee, of the home; parents Gary and Kathleen Lee, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; grandparent, Jean and Hilton Champaign, of Inman, S.C.; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kan. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., July 1, 2013 at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, KS, (913)856-7111. Memorial contributions may be given to the Christopher Lee Memorial Fund.
