Slow start sinks Spring Hill Lady Broncos

Falling behind 20-2 after one quarter, the Lady Broncos varsity basketball team dropped a 67-27 Frontier League decision to Baldwin last Friday night. The annual Spring Hill Invitational basketball tournament will run from Jan. 19-22. Included in the field are Spring Hill, GEHS, Osawatomie, Piper, Sumner, Blue Valley Southwest, Veritas Christian and Goddard-Eisenhower.

Blue Valley Southwest rallies past Broncos

Battling a tenacious full court press, the Pioneer Ridge girls seventh grade varsity basketball team dropped a 34-13 decision at home to Spring Hill last week. Despite the loss, Pioneer got three points and one rebound from Kylie Moorehouse. Lajericka Jackson, Lauren Havlik and Makeena Saige Licktieg scored two points.
