NorthPoint Development, the company developing the KC Logistics Hub adjacent to the intermodal, has a new project on the horizon. The company announced on Aug. 21 that it would redevelop the Power & Light Building in downtown Kansas City. The project will convert the historic building into commercial space and apartment units.
Work is underway on a warehouse being constructed on the southeast corner of the Logistics Park-Kansas City. The contractor for the project, a speculation warehouse, has been erecting building walls in recent days. All four walls, made from pre-stressed concrete panels, should be completed shortly.
