Bybee leads Broncos past Louisburg

Derek Bybee fired in 19 points and Cole Lillich added 16 leading the Spring Hill Broncos to a big 65-55 win at Louisburg on Feb. 17.
“Austin Miller wasn’t able to participate and in his absence we had some younger kids really step up,” said coach Rick O’Neil. “I was real pleased with our overall effort. It was a good win on the road.”
Spring Hill jumped to an 18-13 first-quarter lead and held a 34-24 margin at halftime. Louisburg pulled within 43-38 by the end of three frames but couldn’t mount a comeback.
Robbie Sharemet added 10; Brady Donahue, eight; Lake Johnson, six; Matt Smith, four; and Kainon Clark, two points.
Now 10-8, 5-5 in league, Spring Hill concludes regular season play at Baldwin (Feb. 21) and versus Ottawa at home (Feb. 23).
