Scoring 25 fourth quarter points, the Gardner Edgerton High School boys varsity basketball team claimed a 62-50 Eastern Kansas League win against Blue Valley Northwest High School last week.
GEHS, 9-7, led 15-12 after one quarter and held a 26-21 halftime lead. The Blazers increased the margin to 37-29 after three quarters and sealed the win with 25 points in the final frame.
Blazer seniors Kyle Hultgren, who had 19 points, and Nash Bostwick, who posted 18 points, led the way, while Jacob Haywood added 10 points.
Senior point guard Brett Wright added eight points, Nate Wagner, three points, Jacob Garrett and Bryson Rohr each had two points.
