Brookfield, Wis. —Shirley Brown-Van Arsdale of Bruce Funeral Home in Gardner has been appointed to the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Member Resources Advisory Group for 2013-14. NFDA committee members have a significant impact on the association, its members and the funeral service profession at-large.
Members of the Member Resources Advisory Group will be called upon to assist NFDA in a variety of ways, such as evaluating existing members benefits; recommending new programs, products and services; reviewing and providing feedback on new resources; and assisting with the recruitment and retention of members from around the world for the betterment of the profession and the families it serves.
