After a stellar career at Spring Hill High School, Alix Brown will continue to play soccer at Ottawa University this fall.
She made it official Feb. 20, signing a national letter of intent in front of family and friends in the school’s library.
“I liked the coach, team members and facilities,” said Brown, who will major in Sociology. “It seemed like a good fit.”
Brown earned second team All-State honors last year as a mid-fielder for the Lady Broncos. She hopes to help Spring Hill to another top league finish this Spring.
“We have a lot of good players returning, and I look forward to my senior season,” she said it should be an exciting season.”
Alix is the daughter of Teia and Phil Brown of Spring Hill.
