Broncos blank Paola

Spring Hill’s varsity soccer squad improved to 6-1-1 with a 3-0 shutout at Paola, Sept. 14.
After a slow start, Spring Hill got things going on a goal by Niles “Red Card” Kahn. A nice assist came from Joey Vecchione.
Just before half Spring Hill went up 2-0. This time Lucas Mapes headed a ball to Derek Bybee who scored the goal.
Spring Hill controlled the second half and closed the scoring with another Mapes goal.
It was the same story in JV action, as Spring Hill posted a 5-0 win. Goals came from Bryce Arnold, Moritz Stutzle (2), Brad Bink (2), and John Hanson.
