Bronco volleyball takes 2nd at home

Posting a 4-1 record, the Spring Hill varsity volleyball squad captured second place in its home invitational, Oct. 2.
Spring Hill’s only loss came to eventual tournament champion Olathe Northwest in two tough games, 20-25, 19-25.
“Overall, I was real pleased with our performance,” said Coach Alicia Von Stein. “We played well as a team and got key wins versus Louisburg and Paola.”
Libero Brooke Curry had 45 digs and nine aces. Macy Carbajo had 22 digs and six aces.
Courtney Swope was the offensive leader with 31 kills, 23 digs and seven aces.
Mollie Ravnikar had 19 kills and 15 blocks while Jami Hodge had 26 digs and 14 kills.
