Brief

The Johnson County Extension Office is offering a class on curb appeal Jan.  22, 2013 at the Extension office.  The extension office is located at 11811 S. Sunset Dr., Olathe, KS 66061.
With this class participants will learn how the summer of 2012 was brutal on the landscape as many evergreens and even some standby shrubs such as burning bush all bit the dust and died. The harsh conditions have now created an opportunity to give your home a fresh new look. Do you know that many shrubs should be replaced after 10 to 15 years of age? It is like cleaning out your closest as styles come and go.
This class will cover the basics needed to spruce up the front of the home and empower you to take your abode from drab to dazzling with a few changes.
