Breakfast to benefit Honor Flight this weekend

The American Legion Riders in Gardner will host a biscuit and gravy breakfast on March 4 to benefit Honor Flight.

Honor Flight is a non-profit organization offers free flights veterans to Washington, D.C.  to reflect at monuments dedicated to their service. The organization places a priority on flying World War II veterans, because statistics show 1,000 WWII vets die each day in the United States.

The kitchen will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Gardner Legion, 315 S. Meadowbrook Circle.

For a $6 donation, diners will enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet of biscuits and gravy, eggs,  and sausage.
