Baldwin high school sophomore Garrett Borth was recently named to the All Frontier league team in a balloting of conference coaches.
Borth earned an honorable mention award as a defensive lineman. He played defensive end and tackle and also played tight end on offense for the Bulldogs. He was only one of three sophomores named to the All League team.
At 6’2”, 225 pounds, Borth led Baldwin with three sacks and had 37 total tackles, 18 solos. He had two tackles for losses.
“An explosive punch,” said Head Coach Mike Berg of Borth. “He has a nose for the football and his experience will be big for us next year. We expect great things from Garrett on both sides of the ball next season.”
Garrett is the son of Wally and Dawn Borth of Gardner.
