Members of the Johnson County 4-H community came together to donate blood in honor of their beloved leader, Katy Gregory. For the last year, Gregory has been ill and has required numerous blood transfusions. Anna Hester of the Great Plains 4-H club organized the blood drive to support and honor Katy Gregory. The drive was held at the Johnson County Extension office in Olathe, Kansas. Thirty-one donors registered and twenty-one units of blood were collected. Katy attended the blood drive and enjoyed seeing her 4-H friends.
