Blazers ‘net’ wins at Home Invitational

The number one doubles team of Micah VanVleet and Dylan Meeks posted a 2-1 record highlighting the Blazers performance at their home quadrangular meet April 18.
VanVleet and Meeks defeated Olathe North 8-0 and turned back top 10 5A ranked Mill Valley, 8-4. Their only loss came to 5th ranked 6A Olathe Northwest, 8-4.
Meanwhile, number one singles player Joey Reindl and number two player Jacob Boring posted 0-3 records.
Due to a state music competition, the Blazers number one doubles team was not able to attend the meet. In their absence, Colton Mullin and freshman Grant Hansen posted a 1-2 record, defeating Olathe North, 8-3.
“The team continues to make improvement as we head towards regionals,”said Coach Jon Collum. I was real     pleased with the effort.”
