It’s been another successful season for Coach Andy Weber and his Gardner Edgerton High School Blazer soccer squad. Two players recently earned All-Eastern Kansas League honors.
Dakota Steuber was named to the All-EKL first team, and Carson Harding was named to the second team.
Additionally, Ashton Vega was named to the Kansas Soccer Coaches Association All-Academic First Team. Vega had to earn a grade point average (GPA) of 3.8 or above for consideration. He also earned a National Soccer Association of America Excellence Award.
As a team, the Blazers earned its second straight NSCAA Team Academic Award for the varsity. Members of the team earned a 3.448 GPA.
